Sounds petty, but the boiler is very noisy, as is the toilet tank re-filling after flushing with a constant dripping afterwards, too; quite irritating when in bed trying to sleep. Garden not enclosed which was disappointing, & had to take dogs out on lead as nesr a main road. Not the owner's fault, but stay was disturbed due to neighbours working on their house; began hammering & drilling from 8AM for several days, which wasn't very restful.

The cottage was clean and well equipped, with little touches of luxury. The dressing room was a quirky addition that might benefit from some comfy chairs. There was no trouble parking as there was always a space right outside. Would have appreciated a bit more information on housekeeping like what to recycle and where as this varies with local authority, also exactly which lawned areas are available to the property.
