The big sofa in the living room is perfect for big family/friends get together as everyone can sit all together. It rained all day on Saturday so we lounged around in pjs with the fire on, watched some films and played some games - perfect. Lovely food & drink hamper to enjoy on arrival and everything you can think of that you would need. The only thing I would say is a bit more toilet & kitchen roll would be great, when thereâs 6 people together you go through a lot! Apart from that it was perfect and the Christmas decorations around the house made it even more special. Lovely and clean and everything just as pictured.

The house was warm and comfortable in October. Everything worked well. Very nicely decorated to show off the period features. Only a minutes walk to the Old Hall Hotel where we had great food.

The beds were comfortable as was the sofa and I liked the decor. Iâd read in recent reviews that there had been issues with the shower but it worked fine for us. The location is excellent for exploring the area as well as having three pubs (all serving good food), a farm shop, shop and a number of cafes all on the door step.
