Sunny Bank View is a quaint and cosy cottage nestled in the scenic Hope Valley, appreciated for its quiet location and proximity to local amenities and walking routes. Guests have enjoyed the picturesque garden, the cottage's character, and the friendly village atmosphere. While compact, the cottage offers a comfortable stay with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed, making it an ideal retreat for couples and solo travellers.
The cottage is generally described as clean and tidy, with only a few mentions of cobwebs and worn appliances. The overall impression is that the property is well-maintained.
The location is highly praised for its convenience, with easy access to local shops, pubs, and beautiful walks. The village's welcoming atmosphere and the property's proximity to attractions in the Peak District contribute to its high rating.
The cottage is often described as cosy and comfortable, particularly for solo travellers or couples. However, some guests found the space slightly cramped and the seating and bed comfort varied, leading to a slightly lower score.
Facilities are adequate for a pleasant stay, but there are several mentions of minor maintenance issues such as a dripping shower head and a non-functional extractor fan. The kitchen is well-equipped, though compact, and the garden is appreciated when weather permits.
There is insufficient information regarding the presence of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so a score cannot be given in this category.

Cottage perfect base for days out. Cottage would benefit from a general makeover. Bathroom in need of modernization. Kitchen lacking in appropriate glassware (eg only one wine glass). Spent two of our three evenings in the cottage in front of a lovely log burner but would benefit with a modern smart tv .

A bit of manoeuvring to park the car outside and a tiny little place, but very comfortable.
