We were extremely disappointed to arrive on the Friday evening for our 2 night stay and for the hot tub to be turned off & cold. When we turned the power on there was an error message stating that the water was overdue a change. We then spoke to the owner who said that she would ask the cleaning company to come out and fix the issue the next morning. The next morning, I chased up the owner at 10.30am as nobody had come to resolve the issue yet. At around 11.30 I received a text message from Lynne at HCD cleaning asking what the issue was. Her advice was to top the water up with the hose pipe and to pop some more chlorine tablets in. (The hot tub already had a very strong chlorine smell to it). I was shocked that as guests we were expected to maintain the hot tub with no written instructions or safety policies anywhere. We specifically booked this holiday cottage based on there being a hot tub and lost an entire days use of it. Once the water was hot enough, many of the features were not working. There was one feature which squirted water out of the hot tub in a violent manner over the fence into the neighbours garden. This was extremely scary and dangerous for our children when they were finally able to use it on our last day.

Well equipped and great for dog owners as the park behind the property is easily accessible. Good pubs and shops within easy walking distance.
