Located in the beautiful unspoilt Buckinghamshire countryside, the quiet village of Lillingstone Lovell has changed very little over the years. The cottage looks out to the stream and fields beyond with few interruptions to the gorgeous view, the only break to the quiet are the village church bells and birdsong. On the border of North Buckinghamshire not far from Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds; it s also within driving distance from Milton Keynes for great shopping and entertainment, such as sports facilities, cinemas, restaurants and night clubs. Silverstone Race Circuit is a few miles away, or chill out at nearby Whittlebury Hall Spa golf or pampering. A perfect place to unwind from hectic life or for that special occasion, this Grade II listed cottage dates back to around 1650 with an inglenook fireplace and log burner, low ceilings and oak beams. This cosy and welcoming cottage impresses on arrival. You will find a lovely welcome pack and marvel at the large open hearth with wood burner. The lounge/diner has a dining table with room for two and ample comfy seating to relax on at the end of a long day s touring. There is also a Sky TV/DVD and CD player to unwind in front of. The kitchen is inviting and comes well equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a washing machine, ,and a fridge/freezer. A tumble dryer is also available for use. On the first floor the spacious double bedroom is accessed via steep stairs, and has the 'wow' factor with masses of character that encompasses a vaulted ceiling featuring willow beams and the string that held the thatch together; simplistic compared to today's engineering but the excellent workmanship keeps this lovely cottage as it has always been. It also boasts views of the village church. Outside, the garden is full of flowers and borders, and a BBQ, making it the perfect place to enjoy an evening after exploring the local area.
