Newick 1 mile. Rock House Lodge is located one mile from the historic village of Newick. The lodge is situated within its own private grounds, surrounded by five acres of the owner's open space. The owners are also on hand, should you require their knowledge on the local area. Upon entering this picturesque retreat, electric gates lead you to the lodge, which was built in 2017. As soon as you enter, you are met with calm, peaceful décor, interspersed with bits of rich colour, which lends itself to a unique, carefully-designed retreat. The open-plan living area, with oak-style flooring and a wonderful log burner adds to the feeling of comfort and quality. Leading on to the open-plan, well-equipped kitchen, with a washing machine and built in appliances, well stocked with everything you require, should you want to eat in. Next you'll discover the relaxing bedroom with a luxury king-size bed, dressed with Egyptian cotton bedding, built in wardrobes, drawers and a dressing table. The bedroom has a calming feel, ensuring you have a good night's sleep. The en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom has a wonderful electric shower, touch tone mirror with electric shaving point and a device to play your favourite music, plus a heated towel rail complimented by spa day toiletries and soft luxurious towels. Indian stone paved areas wrap around the lodge with pea beach complimenting the outside. Iron railing finishes off the outside, creating a private area which includes table and chairs, a barbecue and a rotary washing line. There is separate access for disabled guests. The outside of the lodge is well lit with wall lights and lanterns. Rock House Lodge has been carefully designed using designer fabrics and soft furnishings to create this perfect hide away in the Sussex countryside. Brighton, Eastbourne and Haywards Heath are close by, as well as Sheffield Park Gardens and not forgetting the famous South Downs National Park and blue bell railway. A wonderful property in an excellent location.

Newick is a village in the heart of Sussex and south of the High Weald aonb. It has local amenities including a chemist, grocery store with Post Office and a bakery, it also has three pubs serving food as well as a restaurant. The popular town of Lewes is close by with first-class spots to eat and drink. The coast can also be reached, with the quaint Brighton within driving distance.
