This charming getaway for two is located just a short distance from the ancient village of Pevensey. Pevensey Castle began its life as a Saxon Shore fort in the 4th century, and an impressive two thirds of the original walls still stand, with the Norman parts being added after William the Conqueror s invasion. The village of Pevensey Bay, 4 miles from the property, is home to a shingle beach which tends to be quieter than other local beaches and further along the coast, are the towns of Bexhill on Sea and Eastbourne with the Sovereign Harbour Marina, a great place for a spot of lunch whilst admiring the wide variety of boats moored up. Privacy is assured in this pleasant ground floor studio annex which is attached to the owners own property.
