Located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Rye, this holiday home is ideally located to make the most of this popular town s selection of independent cafes, shops and restaurants. Here, guests can browse for hours, picking up freshly caught seafood, collectable antiques and other local produce. Hop in the car for just three miles and you ll reach Camber Sands, the perfect spot for a long walk along the seafront in any weather. Leave your coats and boots in the entrance area before travelling up the bright flight of stairs into the inviting apartment. The kitchen, dining and lounge is open plan, encouraging a sociable break for friends and family. The kitchen is full of contemporary charm with plenty of kitchen storage space. Here you ll find an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. After you ve finished preparing your meals, enjoy a bite to eat at the pull out table to seat four before retiring to the stylish lounge area. Furnished with a sofa and comfortable chair, old meets new in this room with a stunning feature fireplace alongside a TV and DVD. Across the landing the bedroom is bursting with charm with a window overlooking the garden. The next bedroom has bunk beds, perfect for small children, and has been decorated with ornaments, wall hangings and bed linen. The bedrooms share a beautiful bathroom with tasteful wall panelling, shower over bath and WC. There is a small courtyard garden outside, which benefits from the late afternoon sun, making it the perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink. Or alternatively enjoy a winter stay where you will be in prime position for viewing the torchlight parade, fireworks and bonfire on Bonfire night. Need to know: Two bedrooms: 1 double and 1 bunk room (suitable for children). One bath room with shower over bath, basin and WC. Electric oven and hob, washing machine and dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Parking in Rye is restricted but there is a car park across the road from Cliffe Cottage and you are able to park there for 6.00 per day. The market car park which is 8 minutes away is 1.50 per day on market day Thursday, you are able to park in the local station car park.. Wi Fi available. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets.
