During a balmy afternoon, head to the garden area, where you can admire the view of The Duver and Downs whilst the barbeque sizzles in the background and your canine companions stretch their legs. For all of your local amenities, head into the village of St Helens where you will find eateries, a pub and a shop for picking up the essentials. There is a boules pitch on two greens at St Helens which is also adjacent to the pub and childrens play area. From the doorstep of the house you will find the National Cycle Route, as well as a number of walks to explore the coast and countryside of Isle of Wight. If you are feeling adventurous, a short car journey will bring you to Ryde, where you will find six miles of glorious sands, or soak up the sun from The Duver, an NT area of shingle and sand with stunning views. Bembridge Harbour and access across the Causeway to the Duver and the beach is a 5 minute walk from the house which makes it ideal for dog owners. In addition there is the well known Baywatch Cafe and the Tactisle Watersports Centre, perfect for those watersports enthusiasts. Bay View is a superb base for a family holiday to the Isle of Wight.

St Helens is a coastal village resting on the eastern side of the Isle of Wight, between Bembridge and Seaview, just five miles away from Ryde. This English village comes with a village green providing cricket and football pitches, a children’s playground, as well as views across Bembridge Harbour and Culver Down. Within the town you will also find restaurants, pub, newsagent, Post Office and grocery store.
