The property is commended for its well-stocked kitchen, modern amenities, and additional conveniences like a garage for storage. Some guests suggested improvements such as baby gates, and there were issues with the provision of a travel cot.

While guests appreciate the overall experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

It was convenient to be so close to the ferry port and our discounted fare was much appreciated. The house is very comfortable, clean and well-equipped and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack. As we weren't eating out much, we appreciated the amount of storage available for our self-catering supplies. The garage was very useful for drying off wet walking gear. All in all, a great place to stay.

We’ve had a wonderful holiday and Tennyson View has been a great place to stay. It is a convenient base for visiting the many places of interest on the island. The house is lovely and comfortable, a real home from home. It has been furnished with style and is very comfortable. There are comfortable sofas and an armchair in the sitting room and a great tv. There was everything we could possibly have needed in the kitchen if we had wanted to cook our meals. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding and towels were spotless , there was always lots of hot water. The owners were able to offer reduced fare for the ferry crossing which we appreciated. We would love to return to the Isle of Wight and Tennyson View would be our first choice.

Great amenities. Location has been the clincher for us. 5-10 mins walk to the beach, places to eat and an easy short drive to Freshwater and Compton bay, also to and from ferry. The owners (Jo and Simon) have always been great answering our queries really quickly, they also kindly sorted discounted ferry fare - I would say this is crazy not to sort with them when you see the discount. The weather was kind to us all week and made the stay even better. Thanks very much.
