Its bustling harbour is a haven for all types of boats, and regular ferry service from the mainland to Lymington departs from its terminal. A visit to Henry viii's castle should not be missed, and Yarmouth's winding lanes are home to a charming assortment of shops and inns. Along the beach trail, you can enjoy fantastic walking and cycling (there is a shop where you can rent bikes). Why not go for a vigorous walk in Headon Warren or adjacent Tennyson Down? Colwell Bay, with its sandy beach and family-friendly services, is 7 minutes' drive from Sandhard Beach and 15 minutes' walk from Sandhard Beach. Another great place to go crabbering is at Yarmouth's pier and sailing club jetty.
