The Stores, which is aptly named, is a fabulous self catering apartment attached to the owner's house and set in the peaceful Kentish hamlet of Rolvenden Layne. There is a lovely village pub just along the road and a local Farmers Market in the neighbouring village of Rolvenden. The Stores offers a spacious open plan living area with a comfy sofa and chaise longue for relaxing evenings in front of the wood burning stove.  The entire apartment is filled with luxurious soft furnishings and quirky antique bric a brac, making this property a wonderful countryside retreat for two.  The bedroom has twin beds pushed together with crisp cotton linen, a stylish dressing room and French doors leading to a small decked area with a table and chairs, the perfect spot for a cup of coffee or glass of wine.  There is a small but well equipped kitchen and in addition the owner can provide either a continental or full breakfast (additional charge for this) served in the breakfast room through an adjoining door to the main house; a useful alternative if you are planning a busy day out in the local area.  There are some wonderful National Trust properties near by including Sissinghurst and Bodiam Castles and the famous gardens at Great Dixter.  Chapel Down, an award winning vineyard just outside Tenterden is perfect for wine lovers and Tenterden, known locally as the jewel in the Weald, has a tree lined high street with lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.  Historic Rye and the coast at Camber are also within an easy drive.
