Guests consistently praise Solton Manor for its grandeur, spaciousness, and charm, ideal for family gatherings and special occasions. The location is frequently praised for its easy access to Dover and local attractions. The property's setting is appreciated for its beauty and convenience, making it an ideal base for outings.
Comfort is highly rated, with guests enjoying the spacious rooms and cozy atmosphere. However, some guests noted issues with hot water and the size of the kitchen fridge, slightly impacting the comfort score.
Facilities like the games room and hot tub are well-received, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working ovens and the hot tub being out of order, leading to a lower score.
While guests appreciate the amenities provided, such as hand soap and a separate freezer, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in this regard.

The location was perfect, with easy access to Dover & its castle . The house was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Karen & Leianne were very helpful with any questions I had. The games room kept the big & little children occupied & the hot tub was perfect. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Five families enjoyed the spacious house with everything we needed. Hot tub and games room were in regular use. Young cousins even used it as a theatre venue and produced a show with the stairs and balcony. The weather was on our side for games on the lawn and an Easter Egg hunt in the garden. Kitchen not quite big enough, particularly the fridge but the spacious dining room made up for it as we all sat down to Sunday roast and celebration meal on Saturday. Any staff we met were most accommodating and kindly returned some childrenâs plates that we managed to leave behind. Would highly recommend Solton Manor for a family occasion or as a beautiful wedding venue. Already saving my pennies for a future visit.

We stayed for the New Year and then celebrated my 60th birthday. It was everything we hoped and more. Our dog Dolly also had the time of her life. When we arrived at the house we could see the lights from the Christmas trees inside and the house looked and was very cozy and warm. We had the best family get together. Thank you
