Comfortable, welcoming and well equipped. We had almost a week of rain so it was a delight to be in such cosy, peaceful surroundings. Would love to go back and hopefully have better weather to enjoy the lovely area. We would certainly recommend this âhome from homeâ property.

Alan and Michelle the owners bent over backwards to accommodate our personal needs, so much that we rebooked again for September. It was like we hadnât left clean immaculate and welcoming. The main bedroom was absolutely bliss, gorgeous bed with en-suite bathroom and a very powerful duel headed shower. Absolutely bliss. And to top it all a duplicate bathroom for the guests. We have two clean but noisy shih tzuâs which attracted attention but Alan and Michelle asked us to manage them better and to enjoy our break non the less. Iâm hoping to use the lodge again after the loss of my dear wifeâ¦Hopefully into the new year. My final grade for the lodge is 10/10 marvellous well manicured surroundings very accommodating staff at the on site booking office and a partially stocked shop. Very close to the The New Forest and close by very well equipped convenience store. The Red Rover Public house is very close and do a perfect Lamb shank meal where dogs are welcome. Congratulations to Alan and Michelle for an exceptionally welcoming holidayâ¦

The location is fantastic, peaceful and relaxing. It also makes an excellent base for exploring the New forest, visiting the beach or doing some retail therapy at Gunwharf in Portsmouth.
