Guests appreciate the beautiful, well-appointed cottage at 23 Daniel Street for its warmth, comfort, and proximity to Bath's centre. The quiet location and historic charm add to the experience, although some guests noted issues with parking and stairs, which could be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Maintenance responsiveness and communication could be improved, but the property's overall appeal and cleanliness are well-regarded.
The property is generally praised for its cleanliness, with guests finding it comfortable and well-kept. However, there were isolated complaints about a broken dishwasher and a blocked shower drain, which suggest room for improvement in this area.
The cottage's location is highly valued for its quietness and easy walking access to Bath's city centre, shops, and historic sites. The lack of on-site parking is a drawback for some, but the central location minimises the need for a car.
Guests find the property comfortable, with beautiful decoration and comfortable beds. Some guests mentioned issues with cold rooms and squeaky doors, indicating that while the property is generally comfortable, there are minor issues that could be addressed to enhance comfort further.
The house is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but there have been several reports of maintenance issues such as a broken dishwasher, blocked drains, and a lack of clear instructions for guests. These issues have impacted the overall experience, suggesting a need for better upkeep and clearer communication.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property management. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Finished to high standard nice touches . Only slight issue was it was very cold the first night and we couldnât get radiators to come on inspite of turning up thermostat . Also as mentioned in some of previous posts some of the mattresses really need replacing particularly bedroom 1 and back upper bedroom . All in all great stay
Ellie
Decoration and cleanliness were amazing. The only thing I would suggest would be an improvement with the beds as they were a little small with bouncy mattresses. Also, knowing we could get a parking permit at booking would have been helpful. We did get one, but after we had booked parking elsewhere and then had to cancel. Otherwise we all had a lovely few days here and would definitely return. Thank you.
