About this property

Whether it’s over morning coffee or a romantic evening meal, quality time can be spent together in this fantastic couple’s retreat. Located in North Cornwall, just 1.5 miles outside of Camelford, you can fill your days with never-ending excursions in between restful nights in this appealing cottage, jumping at the opportunity to hike, cycle and tour the surrounding coast and countryside. The nearest beach is around 5.5 miles away, neatly positioned on the South West Coast Path enabling incredible clifftop walks along the edge of the Celtic Sea. Whichever direction you head out in, the warm embrace of this granite stone barn awaits you at the end of each day.

The converted barn offers appeal across two storeys and more than enough room for any pair to unwind. Step into the open-plan living space where high ceilings, original beams and stylish furnishings will instantly impress. In the corner, a wood burner is tucked away with logs ready to create a warming ambience on cold nights. Rustle up a delicious dinner before curling up on the sofa with the Smart TV on. There’s an additional log-effect fire in the king-size bedroom, a few steps up. This cosy room is best enjoyed after a relaxing soak in the whirlpool bath. Outside, the property is completed with a private patio area, furnished for your use.

Whilst the coast offers endless attractions to be explored, the inland countryside of North Cornwall also enables endless days out. Spend time discovering Bodmin Moor, around 3 miles from home. Set on the edge of Bodmin town (12 miles), this wonderful area of moorland offers historically rich scenes and mighty tors to be hiked and explored. You can even take a guided tour in the company of some alpacas (17.5 miles).

Lovely cottage, it had everything we needed, its very peaceful place.local walks from the cottage but not too far to travel to visit places. The last part of the road up to the cottage is narrow and its necessary to reverse as no passing places, but it's a very quiet road . If visiting this area we would book again .
