The cottage could have been cleaner. Underneath the sofa was very dusty. The towels/tea towels that were in the kitchen, although new, hadn't been washed. They were not usable until after they had been washed as they were shedding. The drawer in the washing machine also needs to be cleaned. The listing should state that accessibility could be an issue - number 18 is at the top of quite a steep hill. Taking luggage up the hill requires some effort. It should also be stated that the use of the postcode to find the property is not advised - it takes you to the nearby golf club. The Travelling to the Property directions were not particularly helpful either. I stopped communicating with the mobile number provided as the contact as they were not particularly friendly or helpful. Not that they had to, but they never supplied their name. The biggest issue is stating that the property has Broadband / WiFi, a statement bordering on misrepresentation. The Broadband / WiFi barely worked. The disclaimer on the noticeboard in the property stating that the Broadband / WiFi is not actually Broadband / WiFi bears this out, as did talking to people staying at other properties on the site who experienced the same issue. I did raise the Broadband / WiFi issue with Roger, one of the site owners, when I bumped into him. I tried what Roger advised, to resolve the issue, but it didn't work. I had no further way to contact Roger, apart from bumping into him again.
