Guests say

Guests have had a delightful experience at Westroose Farm House, praising its spaciousness, peaceful rural setting, and friendly owners. The farm animals and historical charm add to the unique appeal, while the proximity to beaches and local attractions is appreciated. Some guests noted areas for improvement, but the overall sentiment is one of fondness for the property.

The farmhouse is generally described as clean and tidy. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as damp-smelling furnishings and dusty carpets, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and safety, with easy access to beaches and local attractions. The rural charm and proximity to nature are consistently appreciated by guests.

While the farmhouse's character and spaciousness are well-liked, several guests have commented on the need for better mattresses and more comfortable sleeping arrangements, indicating that comfort could be enhanced.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample space. However, some guests noted that updates are needed, particularly in the bathrooms, and mentioned weak shower pressure and the lack of a tumble dryer.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through gestures like offering farm-fresh eggs and homemade cakes. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, may not be guaranteed with every stay.

The location is really good too for some of the best beaches, although it is off any main roads signal is hard to get and the WiFi doesn’t work well for watching videos etc but that didn’t bother us at all and we enjoyed playing games etc! We would defiantly stay here again and we felt it was really good value for money!

We found it well equipped and comfortable, and had a good holiday. One problem which should be mentioned in the listing is that with poor mobile reception, and a broadband speed measured at 0.3Mbps, access to the internet from the cottage was very limited using either wifi or mobile data. OK for emails, but very slow surfing the web (to find or book attractions) and impossible to download films or BBC iplayer to watch in the evening. Our host advised that nothing could be done about the broadband speed
