Set at the heart of the magical village of Fowey, Place View is a delightful three-bedroom property with views of the estuary below. This traditional Cornish terraced cottage has been beautifully refurbished and is furnished and equipped to a high standard.
Fowey is one of the jewels of the south Cornish coast. Many of the most popular attractions of Cornwall are within easy reach, such as the Eden Project or the harbour of Charlestown, yet Fowey is a magical destination in itself, with its labyrinth of narrow, winding streets packed with independent shops and stunning views from every hilltop. Sail boats bobbing in the estuary, and unique events throughout the year like the summer regatta and the Christmas Fair make Fowey a dream place to get away from it all. Place View gives you excellent views of this medieval town and the estuary below from the front terrace, where there’s seating for six.
The cottage may be traditional, but the interior is comfortably contemporary, with Smart televisions, a very well-equipped kitchen and a roll top bath in the bathroom. The bright and soft decorations create a feeling of space in the summer but are equally relaxing in the winter, with an open fire adding to the warmth and comfort.
Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee in the garden room or having a last glass of wine on the terrace looking out onto the estuary below, you’ll find yourself soon relaxing into the Cornish pace of life at Place View.

We have had a superb week in Fowey. The house is so comfortable and very much a home-from-home. Thank you for all the effort that goes into making it so clean and well equipped. We are sad to leave but have to return soon. There is so much to see and do in the area but we particularly recommend a visit to Wheal Martyn Clay Works. The museum and tour are fascinating and the view stunning. Many thanks.

A real gem of a property, a home and that's what it felt like to us. Very nicely decorated and arguably the most comprehensively equipped place we've ever stayed in! We were very sad to leave but thrilled to have had a our fix of Saturday morning monkey muffins! Favourite restaurant remains the tapas place. Life Busy cafe does a great breakfast.
