Located at the heart of the village of Ruan Minor, just a short walk from the picturesque fishing village of Cadgwith or a short drive to the beautiful Kynance Cove or Lizard Point. For those interested in walking, the coastal path is on your doorstep. The Attic is a newly refurbished and beautifully presented two bed loft apartment. A pair of large wooden gates provide secure access to a gravelled parking area, at the rear of the property, suitable for 2 vehicles. Benefiting from its close proximity to the local amenities and an enviable position on the Lizard Peninsula (an area of outstanding natural beauty with dark sky status). The Attic welcomes four guests, perfect for a family, couples or friends alike seeking a relaxing getaway or walking holiday in Cornwall. A modern lounge and dining area with sea glimpses from the window. The well-equipped kitchen, furnished with all the appliances you need to enjoy a self-catered stay. The accommodation also provides two bright bedrooms, one of which is is a zip n link which can be set up as a double on request. The modern shower room has a walk in shower. The space offers 360 degree views of the village, out to sea and across the fields to the beautiful St Grade and Holy Cross Church. It's also a great spot to observe the amazing starry night skies. A former superhost with Airbnb, the owner continues to provide the high level of service and care expected by their Cornish Cottage Holiday guests.

If you prefer to spend your evenings alfresco, head outside to the charming, enclosed garden, complete with barbecue and outdoor furniture so you can soak up the evening sun. If the beach and water sports are your thing, there's an outdoor tap for rinsing yourself and your kit, before relaxing in a large, walk-in shower. Just a short walk away is the National Trust’s old serpentine works, at Poltesco, perfect for history enthusiasts looking to learn more about the area’s rich heritage and enjoy the surrounding woods and streams. A 40 minute hike via Poltesco will take you to Kennack Sands, an idyllic spot for sunbathing, paddling the shores or simply relaxing with family and friends; if you're feeling up to the challenge, why not try your hand at a range watersports, including paddleboarding or windsurfing, guaranteed to get the adrenaline flowing!

Alternatively travel further afield to discover the likes of Kynance Cove of Poldark fame, the Goonhilly Earth Station, Bonython Estate Gardens, the busy harbour and foodie centre of Porthleven and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, each offering plenty to see and do. Ruan Minor is a tiny village resting in Cornwall, perched on the Lizard Peninsula and just slightly inland from the coast. Settled next to the bustling fishing village of Cadgwith, Ruan Minor is part of the Ruan-Grade parish alongside Ruan Major and Grade. The village is home to a local Post Office combined with a village store, serving any self-catering needs, along with the Ruan Minor Pavilion bar where locals gather. Over in Cadgwith you can find two more pubs serving delicious seafood, as well as a fishmongers and a gift shop, while heading northward leads you to Kuggar which has two pubs and a local shop too. Ruan Minor is the perfect spot for those seeking a tranquil, quiet break to Cornwall, just a stone's throw from the South Coast West Path where you can delight in soaking up the stunning seascapes and taking energetic rambles. Head down to the National Trust's Lizard Point, the most southern point of England's mainland, visit the gorgeous Kynance Cove, Pentreath Beach, and Housel Bay Beach for some exquisite blue waters you won't forget in a hurry. The town of Helston is within easy reach too with plenty more choice of amenities, and the home of the fun-filled Flambards Theme Park.
