A quiet village placed conveniently on the south east border of the Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. St Cleer offers two highly regarded pubs serving food, as well as a shop and Post Office, a farm shop and a Grade I listed church dating back to the 9th century. Bodmin Moor, an aonb, is a breath-taking area of seemingly endless countryside for walking, cycling and admiring the wonderful scenery, the Tamar Valley aonb is also easy to reach by car. For a wider range of amenities, head to the charming market town of Liskeard just two miles away, boasting its own museum. For a trip to the coast, the delightful seaside resort of Looe is 10 miles south, offering a fun day out with a whole host of activities from its amusement arcade to its glistening, sandy beach.
