There is an Inn nearby and all the amenities of East Looe are around 10 minutes downhill walk away, including many independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants as well as the long sandy beach, pier and harbour. Boat trips are available from the harbour and include glass-bottom boat excursions, sea cruises and fishing trips where visitors can catch their own supper! Pixies Holt is ideally placed to explore the local area; the beautiful Cornish coastline spreads east and west to reveal more nearby beaches at Seaton, Downderry and Portwrinkle. Head west either by car or stunning coastal path - and you will reach the charming and picturesque fishing village of Polperro. Inland the untamed countryside of Bodmin Moor is less than half an hour's drive, and the famous Eden Project 40 minutes' away. Pixie's Holt is a good choice for large families who like a quiet base but still wish to have easy access to the hustle and bustle of the town. Tastefully presented throughout, all the rooms are spacious, light and airy. Both lounges have great river views and all four bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. There is a decked patio area to the front/side of the property which is the perfect place to sit and admire the panoramic vista, and an additional patio area to the front of the property has a gas barbecue for outside dining.
Accommodation: Exterior steps lead up to the property. Ground Floor: Lounge with 42" TV/DVD, Freeview. Further lounge with TV. Dining Room with table and seating for 8. Kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/drier. Bedroom 1 with Double and ensuite with shower, WC and basin. Family bathroom with bath, WC and basin. First Floor: Bedroom 2 with Double and ensuite with shower attachment over bath, WC and basin. Bedroom 3 with Double and ensuite with shower, WC and basin. Bedroom 4 with Twin and ensuite with shower over bath, WC and basin.
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. No smoking. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (extra £25.00 per week per pet.) Parking for 3 cars outside of the property and up a very steep drive. Short breaks available out of season. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday. An additional returnable deposit of £100 for cleaning/breakages is required at this property.
