Escape to the Cornish coast in this beautiful period property overlooking Looe. Sleeping four guests, the spacious holiday home makes a wonderful couples’ retreat or base for a small family. The South West Coast Path passes through the town, making Looe a great base for walkers, and other nearby attractions include Adrenaline Quarry (7 miles) and the picture-postcard village of Polperro (4 miles). In the evenings, pour a glass of wine and sit out on the terrace, watching the fishing boats returning to the harbour.
The Victorian property enjoys an elevated position, with far-reaching views across the Looe Estuary. The property is decorated in hues to reflect the surrounding seascape, and you’ll spot little nautical touches in the accessories and artwork. The heart of the home is an open-plan lounge/diner, full of period features and boasting a magnificent bay window. Unwind in the lounge area to watch the Smart TV or gather at the rear of the room for memorable mealtimes around the dining table. A separate, stylish kitchen has everything needed for a self-catering break. Upstairs, two elegant bedrooms await, along with an indulgent family bathroom. To the front of the property is a sunny, decked area with seating and spectacular views across the water. There’s also a small, enclosed patio to the rear.
Looe is full of Cornish charm, with cobbled streets lined with cute boutiques and cafes. The town is known for its fantastic seafood restaurants, many of which offer outdoor seating overlooking the harbour. In summer, boat trips regularly depart from the harbour, including to the wildlife haven of Looe Island. Looe has some fantastic beaches, including the sandy, family-friendly East Looe Beach directly in front of the town and the quieter, rocky cove of Hannafore, just across the river.

A lot of thought has gone into the presentation of this Victorian terraced house - decor in particular is perfect for relaxing on holiday. Views of the estuary are exceptional and being a little walk from the town means that it is also very quiet. Access is not for the faint hearted but that is the price for these views and solitude. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Looe is very buzzing and atmospheric, locals are also very friendly, a nice feel. It's a great contrast between the house and the busy town.

Beautiful home with beautiful furniture and a lovely view, the outside at the back was not what I was expecting but a lovely place to sit at the front, great neighbours! On the incline of a very steep hill from town back to cottage. Owners very accommodating and approachable of which I was very grateful
Mr Leydon
I would recommend new visitors walk to the property first to view how narrow Shutta Road is one way only with very tight turns and suitable for small cars only. I would recommend Millpool car park. A pre ordered parking ticket can save visitor a lot of money. Also for visitors to keep a large amount of change as most car parks only accept cash we visiting different locations. A excellent location for visiting a number of different locations
