About this property

Shore Edge sits in a unique position looking over the picturesque beach and historic harbour of Portreath. From the minute that you walk through the gate, you cannot fail to be captivated by the spectacular scenery.

The house has been beautifully designed to make the most of the stunning uninterrupted views throughout. The expansive ground floor is mainly open-plan with large glass doors opening out on to a wrap-around balcony. At one end, the huge island in the well-equipped kitchen provides the perfect place for socialising and cooking. Beyond that, you will find the dining area with a large bespoke wooden table which easily accommodates eight plus.

The main seating area at the far end of the space is arranged around a cosy log burner and Smart TV. There is also plenty of room to relax and enjoy watching the waves from the comfort of the strategically placed armchairs. The entrance hall provides plenty of space for coats and adjoins a separate WC. There is also a fully equipped utility room. A bespoke staircase leads to a spacious landing lit by a glass atrium.

The spacious main bedroom with its super king-size bed and en-suite shower room has double doors leading out to its own balcony overlooking the iconic Gull Rock and the stunning sunsets of Portreath. There is a second equally large bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite shower room which also has double doors to a private balcony, in this case looking out towards the sea and the harbour.

There are also two further bedrooms, a king and a twin room, both of which have beautiful views framed by windows. They share a spacious family bathroom with an elegant bath and walk-in shower. The whole property is light and airy, with furnishings in neutral colours and carefully selected artwork. The house boasts underfloor heating throughout and a heat pump provides copious amounts of hot water. Crisp white linen and high-quality beds will help ensure that you are comfortable day and night.

Outside there is plenty of comfortable seating so that you can enjoy the views from the large balcony. The outdoor shower provides warm water, allowing you to wash sand off in comfort. There is also a storeroom with an overflow fridge and freezer which doubles as a convenient space for surf boards and beach equipment.

Whether you are with family or friends, Shore Edge provides the perfect venue for an unforgettable holiday, quite literally, by the sea.
