Guests consistently praise the Pirate's Pad for its prime location in Mevagissey, cleanliness, and comfort. The property is well-maintained with powerful showers and comfy beds. While some minor issues with TV and door locks were mentioned, the responsive owner and the overall quality of the stay overshadow these. The property's proximity to local amenities and the inclusion of thoughtful touches, such as a cream tea on arrival, contribute to its charm.
Reviewers frequently highlight the property's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. The changeover team is also mentioned positively, indicating high standards of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for being central, close to the harbour, pubs, and shops, making it an ideal base for exploring Mevagissey and the surrounding area.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the property inviting, with multiple mentions of a cosy atmosphere. The provision of multiple bathrooms adds to the comfort level.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. However, there are repeated mentions of issues with the TV and door locks, which slightly lower the score.
The property owners' responsiveness and the inclusion of a cream tea on arrival are appreciated gestures. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, guests should consider these as delightful bonuses rather than expectations.

An ideal base to enjoy Mevagissey. Many thanks.
Alison
The property was clean and comfortable and Mevagissey is wonderful too. The property suited all 6 of us ranging from 2 to 71. The only thing that could've made it better would be a toilet downstairs but there are 3 on the 1st floor. We would most definitely book again.
Vicki
Would be nice if the courtyard was made more useable. Have stayed before, would stay again
