About this property

5 St Brigids is a delightful, harbourside apartment offering tasteful accommodation and close access to the amenities and attractions of St Ives. This property is a fabulous base for a family or group of friends looking to explore the coast and countryside of Cornwall. Be welcomed by the charming exterior of this stone-built property, a characterful abode nestled beside the coast, making your way upstairs to the apartment, offering beautiful views across the harbour. This light and airy social hub offers an amply-fitted kitchen to cater to your culinary needs, and there is a dining table beside traditional windows, where guests can enjoy views of the town and boats bobbing in the picturesque harbour; afterwards, settle into the sitting area and enjoy a movie marathon from the Smart TV. When sleep calls, freshen up in the contemporary shower room, before cosying up in one of the three bedrooms available, choosing between a double with en-suite shower room, a second double and a single; each bedroom has storage for your belongings and tasteful décor and artwork. St Ives is a fantastic, seaside town resting in Cornwall. The town offers a great selection of convenience stores for all of your holiday essentials, as well as pubs, restaurants, and cafes where guests can enjoy a hearty meal; options include Scoff Troff Café, The Upper Deck Bar and Terrace and Pilchard Press Alehouse. St Ives has coastal walks beside the harbour, beautiful sandy beaches, and plenty of watersports options to allow you to spend an action-packed afternoon on the waves. Visit the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, Tate St Ives, or head out on one of the stunning coastal walks, heading towards Clodgy Point and beyond. The local area also offers cycling trails, horse riding, fishing, and surfing. Visit the animals at Paradise Park and JungleBarn Cornwall or try out a game or two at one of the local golf courses. Hike through the Penwith Heritage Coast, or visit one of the many lovely seaside towns, including Penzance, Hayle and Carbis Bay. All of this and so much more with a stay at the characterful 5 St Brigids.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!

It appeared very much in need of some TLC. Although the apartment was clean the maintenance of it was not good. The shower hose leaked, lamps did not work, there was no spare batteries for the clock or remote control for tv. The sofa was stained, the place was full of air fragrance diffusers that were empty. There was some flooring missing by door in one bedroom and window frames needed painting

Had all the things we needed for our stay. My only complaint would be the quality of the mattress in the single bedroom, it was very uncomfortable as it was possible to feel every spring.

The accommodation was in a fantastic position, right opposite the harbour front. We had a lovely holiday and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
