Guests say

Guests have had delightful stays at 'The Drift', praising its wonderful location, cleanliness, and comfort. The property is well-regarded for its proximity to local amenities and its charming, quirky decor. Guests have felt truly spoilt and look forward to returning.

The property is consistently described as very clean, with multiple reviews affirming its tidiness, contributing to guests' comfort and satisfaction.

The location is highly praised for being perfect, with easy access to shops, pubs, and the beach, making it an ideal spot for a holiday.

The property is generally considered comfortable, though one review mentioned the shower being a bit snug for taller individuals, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

Facilities are well-received, but there are concerns about maintenance, such as the precarious slate and gutter issues, which suggest room for improvement.

Guests have appreciated the attention to detail and the provision of treats. However, as gifts are not consistently mentioned across reviews, it cannot be guaranteed that such thoughtfulness is a standard practice.

What a stunning place to stay. The attention to detail and styling is second to none. Romantic , peaceful and in a perfect area. Very comfortable all round, very clean ( thank you) . We parked in the Barnoon car park for the week at £26.30 . Which is a 10 Min walk away. Fore st is a few yards away , so straight into a Cornish delight of shops, pubs, Jazz bar, delis, fashion, sweets , arty , cafes etc etc. restaurants are abundant . So sit back and enjoy the beach, trips and walks. 5*** The goodies left were delicious thank you. Tea , special Coffee, Sugar, milk and biscuits. Very nice indeed. We have been truly spoilt on this holiday.

The shower was good but a little snug and wouldn’t be suitable if you were too tall. The decore was very quirky.Sometimes the one light by the property didn’t always come on when it was dark so you did have to be very careful if you had been out.

  • Mrs Kathleen Baron

It was charming, well equipped and clean. A note for owner: there is a slate hanging precariously right over the front door which could cause serious damage if it falls off onto someone's head. Another slate fell off the roof in front of the dog groomer next door. The gutters need cleaning out. When it rains it's like walking through a waterfall when entering and exiting property.
