Guests say

The Retreat in St Ives is highly praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, stunning sea views, and great location within walking distance to the town. Guests appreciate the well-equipped apartment, comfortable furnishings, and the added bonus of spa passes. While there are some minor maintenance issues mentioned, the quick response to resolve them is noted. The property's provision of parking and its peaceful setting away from the bustle are also valued.

Guests consistently describe the apartment as clean and well-kept, with nice towels and bedding. There were isolated comments about windows needing cleaning and a sour smell on a towel, but these appear to be exceptions in the overall positive feedback.

The location is frequently highlighted as a major plus, with its proximity to the beach, town centre, and the benefit of a parking space. The views and accessibility to local amenities contribute to its high rating.

The apartment is generally found to be comfortable, with a spacious layout and extra amenities for children. Some guests found the beds firm, and there were comments about the need for fans in all rooms, suggesting room for improvement in comfort for all guests.

Facilities are well-regarded, including the kitchen equipment and entertainment options. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as shower problems and light bulbs needing replacement, which slightly lower the score.

While guests are pleased with the overall experience, there is insufficient information to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or special touches. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Everything we needed, comfortable and in a great location. It also had a car parking space which was, as it turned out, ok for my car.(Q5) The only slight fault was the master bedroom door didn’t shut and kept opening during the night! Other than that we’d happily return to Galinas Point.

Apart from that, it was very nice.
