Black Rock House in Rock, Cornwall, is highly praised for its stunning location, comfort, and well-equipped features. Guests have enjoyed the beautiful views, quiet setting, and proximity to local amenities. The property's garden and outdoor areas are appreciated, and the presence of a nearby hotel adds to the convenience. While some guests mentioned minor issues with finding the property and suggested improvements, the overall experience has been very positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Most guests found the property to be spotlessly clean, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, there were a few mentions of areas that could have been better attended to, such as sketchy vacuuming and a poorly cleaned kitchen surface. These isolated comments suggest room for improvement in consistency.
The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with beautiful views of the water and easy access to the beach and local facilities. The quiet setting away from the main road is also appreciated, enhancing the property's appeal.
Guests have found the house comfortable, with multiple living spaces and a well-equipped kitchen. The property accommodates a range of ages, and the outdoor areas add to the comfort. Some guests noted furniture crowding and challenges with bath accessibility, but overall, the comfort level is high.
The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests have enjoyed features like the fire pit and outdoor shower. However, comments about the lack of proper indoor showers, difficulty operating appliances, and maintenance issues like a leaking radiator suggest that there is room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
While guests have mentioned receiving a gift and appreciated the attention to detail inside the house, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts to accurately score this category.

Beautiful yard and Kitchen/Dinning area. Shower (s) a little quirky but doable. Third story did yield several head butts against the low attic sloped ceiling, but again doable. Definitely a repeat.

Had everything we could possibly need whilst staying here. Our only slight disappointment was the lack of proper showers in the 2 bathrooms in side the house. But thus did not detract from the enjoyment of the holiday. Would stay again
