Guests say

Burrow House in Cornwall receives high praise for its homely charm, spacious and well-equipped facilities, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the property's suitability for large groups, including pets, and its proximity to local attractions. The conservatory is a favourite spot for relaxation. Some guests mention a narrow entrance and challenges with the Aga cooker, but these are minor compared to the overall positive experience.

Most guests found Burrow House to be clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning missed spots. The high standard of cleanliness contributed positively to the guests' experiences.

The property's location is highly regarded for its convenience to local shops, pubs, and attractions like the Eden Project. The village's friendliness and the ease of accessing beautiful beaches and walks add to the appeal.

Guests consistently report that the beds are very comfortable and the house cosy, with a warm atmosphere. The conservatory and garden are particularly appreciated for relaxation. A few guests noted issues with bed softness and dining chair comfort.

The house is well-equipped for families and children, with a variety of games and books. The Aga cooker and narrow driveway present challenges for some, and there are mentions of a need for better instructions for the cooker and tech amenities.

While guests have mentioned a welcome pack and the provision of various amenities, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

We love it here. The house suited our party perfectly, 5 adults, a 6 year old and a dog. The conservatory is a lovely place to relax in the sunshine, the living room is extremely cozy in the evening with the woodburner, our 6 year old loved the train set in the playroom and the dog was completely secure to mooch around the beautiful garden. Tywardreath is a great location too. The house is a short walk from the New Inn pub which does great food, a fantastic butchers and a very handy and well stocked corner shop. Par beach is only a mile from the house which is dog friendly all year round. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The cottage was clean, homely and well located. Would love to come back again.

The house was easy to live in, practical and comfortable and we loved the library of books and the charming bedrooms. As an Aga owner I enjoyed the gas Heritage for a change - very easy to use. The garden is private and peaceful although I confess we mainly saw it from the comfort of the conservatory with the doors open!. The only issue we had is that we are tall and had to remember to duck on the way into the kitchen - and not to bump the hood over the cooker. The turn into the narrow drive is a bit nerve wracking, and you do need to exit forwards. We weren't sure about being close to an urban area but the cottage is very much at the village end of Tywardreath, We made good use of the shop, and can recommend all the village facilities (church, pub, butchers, shop and Thai/fish and chip takeway) which were all a short walk away. Walks around the Gribbin headland, Fowey and the boat trips were within very easy reach and highlights of the holiday.
