Culverfield is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and beautiful location. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, ample space for large groups, and the well-equipped kitchen. The garden and views are consistently highlighted as delightful. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, guests report a very positive experience and express a desire to return.
Guests consistently describe the property as clean and tidy, with no reports of significant cleanliness issues. The high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.
The property's location in Devon is highly praised for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions. The peaceful countryside setting is appreciated, although some guests mention the closure of a local pub and the need for caution when walking along nearby lanes.
The property is frequently described as comfortable, with good-sized bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. However, some guests mention that the mattresses are too soft and the sofas could be more supportive, which slightly affects the comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as oven and fridge problems, and water pressure concerns, which suggest room for improvement in this category.
While guests find the host welcoming and the property well-equipped for a comfortable stay, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

The house was clean and tidy. Only issues were with the two bathrooms shared by the 3 bedrooms. The one with the shower had a faulty lock which came apart, the one with the bath had no lock on it. Apart from this we had a very enjoyable break

Places to all be together and space to get quiet time . Cosy and furnishings not too new so good for young children. Many extras provided. Well situated for a variety of places to visit . We have stayed twice and would highly recommend.

Beds are comfortable, lots of space for clothes. Kitchen has a nice pantry to store your food and has a small additional fridge which we used for drinks. Garden is great, the kids played football and games everyday outside. Location is perfect, beach is 15min away! WiFi is very patchy, but the owners do warn you of that! The farm shop at the end of the road is amazing, worth a visit!
