A delightful, traditional village set between Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks in rural mid-Devon. The mid-Devon location leaves you spoilt for choice with moors, beaches and stunning Devon countryside to explore. This peaceful village is a great spot for a relaxing holiday with its 16th century pub and convenient spar shop. Lapford is an ancient village at it's heart - its origins can be traced back to the Iron Age Celts and it was mentioned in the Domesday Book. Lapford's playing field provides a great open space for ball games and there is a childrens playground. Lapford train station offers access to the many nearby charming mid-Devon towns and villages. The cosmopolitan city of Exeter with its wonderful architecture lies within 30 minutes driving distance. The nearest well-stocked town is Crediton just 9 miles away and a 20 minute drive.

    The only thing the owner came three times felt like she was checking up on the place normally don't see the owners and I've been on loads of holidays with Sykes saying that she was nice and friendly the place is 5 star has everything and is very very clean would recommend highly
