      Zeal Cottage is beautifully maintained, positioned and is really home from home.

      The facilities are all extremely good quality and perfect for a group of 4, with plenty of open and airy space in the living/dining/kitchen areas and both the en-suite bedrooms. The laundry facitilies are excellent too and parking very easy. We stayed for 3 weeks and it was absolutely easy living for the whole time. The grounds are amazing, the peace is incredible and Di and Chris made us feel so welcome and at home, especially with an abundant welcome pack when we arrived. The cottage position is very central in Devon to allow access to the whole area of the county and Crediton is very handy for all things needed (car is essential). Lovely pubs, walks and scenery. Thank you Di and Chris for such a wonderful holiday experience and I have no hesitation in highly recommending a stay at Zeal Cottage.

      Di and Chris were lovely hosts, welcoming us with a really clean cottage containing all the necessities you would need for your WHOLE stay (toilet paper, shower gel, hand soap, kitchen roll, tissue boxes, tablets for dishwasher, kitchen towels etc).

      A lot of attention has been put in the kitchen utensils (all sort of dishes to cook and bake, plastic containers, measuring cup, cheese grater, foil paper etc). The towels were incredibly soft and thick, the pillows and mattresses were soooo confortable, we are now thinking of changing our own to get a better sleep! There were a laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, which made washing clothes so efficient! We had a beautiful bouquet of white roses, a bottle of home made apple juice, rose, eggs, butter, bread, coffee/tea and milk when we arrived, so thoughtful! We can only recommend Di and Chris’ cottage, you will have a good rest all along!

      We had a mini break at plum cottage and couldn't have been happier.

      After quite a hairy journey to find the cottage, in the dark with torrential rain the sight of this lovely cottage was most welcome. The interior was amazing and everything we would need was there. Also the cupcakes which were left were amazing! My husband and I fell in love with the view and we became amateur bird watchers, spotting many different varieties. The log fire was so cosy and we wish we could have stayed longer. Next time we are planning to bring lots of provisions so we don't have to leave the cottage and make the most of the immediate surroundings. Also we will make sure we have our wellies! Would recommend this property without any qualms.

      Thank you Emma & Richard! The Pool House is extremely well equipped with everything you would need. The bed was amazingly comfortable & the property was spotlessly clean. Thank you for the locally made Cider & Apple juice - welcome refreshments as we had such beautiful hot weather and managed to use the Swimming Pool several times a day, every day of our stay! We had a fantastic time here & would highly recommend it to anyone. Emma & Richard we’re very kind & nothing was too much trouble. Can recommend A lovely Italian on the way to Exeter called Belluno.       Lovely accommodation, very comfortable and well equipped plus a lovely location.

      I would say though unless you have a high vehicle I would avoid following the owners directions as our Car grounded on the road going in on the lane leading to the property from the left, coming in from the right over over the small bridge was much better. Although there was a great external Laundry room there were steep stairs leading to it, would recommend walking round by the public footpath near the river to get to it. Plus no local walkable train station or shops, you need a car to get anywhere and most attractions were at least an hour/ hour and half away. Otherwise lovely hospitable owners and friendly dogs.
