It is just 8 miles from the sandy beach at Instow, where you can catch a ferry across to picture-postcard Appledore in the high season. The long, golden beach at Westward Ho!, where you can swim, surf and picnic, is 11 miles from the cottage, while beautiful Saunton Sands is 10 miles away. Pick up the South West Coast Path in either direction to take in the magnificent views. Keen walkers might like to attempt the 14-mile section between Westward Ho! and Clovelly.

Make your way into the cottage at ground-floor level and head through to the chic kitchen/diner. With swathes of exposed stone and brickwork and hardwood flooring, this gorgeous space exudes both style and practicality. This has zip-and-link beds and can be made up as a super-king-size or a twin by prior arrangement.
