Trentishoe Coombe is a beautifully renovated cottage praised for its peaceful setting, spacious interiors, and modern conveniences. Guests appreciate the ample parking, strong wifi, and scenic walks, though some noted room for improvement in bedding comfort and cleanliness of kitchen appliances.
The property generally maintains good standards of cleanliness, but there were isolated complaints about specific appliances, such as the dishwasher and toaster, which affected the overall impression.
The cottage's location is highly regarded for its beauty and tranquility, with easy access to local footpaths and wildlife. The remote setting requires own transport, which is a minor inconvenience for some.
The property is considered comfortable and spacious, suitable for large groups and families. However, there were some remarks about the beds and pillows needing improvement.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a special mention of the hot tub and wifi. However, the score reflects the need for better maintenance of some kitchen appliances and the issue with flies around the hot tub.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

A super comfortable cottage, amazing local scenery and walks, and not a firework to be heard all week. We will definitely return in the future.

We had an issue with dishwasher leaking when we used it. We thought that it may be due to a blocked filter. As I have dishwasher at home I knew how to clean the bottom filter , what I found when I lifted the internal filter out of the bottom of machine was something that in my opinion had never been cleaned all season or even longer. It took me ages to clean the filters. When we came to use the toaster for breakfast the crumb tray in the bottom also had not been cleaned as was full of old crumbs. These small things spoilt what was a perfect holiday. The location was ideal and the house was beautiful and we would not hesitate to holiday there again.

My only complaint - it wasn't long enough. I have stayed in Devon quite a few times but the location of Trentishoe is by far the most beautiful.
