The South West Coastal Path and local countryside offer a range of walks from easy to challenging. A good selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops can be found on the mile long walk down the High Street to the picturesque beach, flanked by its rock pools. Exmoor National Park is just beyond the village and the beautiful surfing beach at Woolacombe is accessible by car in under half an hour.

A beautiful little cottage by a lovely old church in a nice village with several really good pubs. Only a 10 minute walk down to the sea with a lovely little cove. Great area for walking and catching buses, so car didn't get used for the whole week. Had a fabulous holiday.
