Guests say

Guests have praised the holiday rental for its cleanliness, stunning views, and peaceful surroundings. The property is well-equipped for a self-catering stay, with a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. It serves as an excellent base for exploring North Devon, though some guests noted minor issues with facilities and parking.

The chalet is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its cleanliness, contributing to a high score in this category.

The location is appreciated for its quietness, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions, though one review mentioned steep access, slightly impacting the score.

Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of a cosy chalet, comfortable beds, and a welcoming atmosphere, but there is a single mention of a lack of WiFi which may affect some guests' comfort.

Facilities are generally good with well-equipped kitchens and a dog walking field, but some feedback on minor issues like USB sockets and a limescale-coated kettle slightly lowers the score.

Guests mentioned welcome packs and the offer of an extra night's stay, showing thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this is politely noted.

Its a wonderful base for exploring north devon -20 mins to lynmouth and woolacoombe by car. The chalet had picturesque views of the open Devonshire countryside with a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy on an evening. Adjacent is a huge field where you can let your dog run around and play safely off the lead. Inside the chalet was cosy, spotlessly clean and everything you would need for a self catering stay. Owner/manager Kelly was so sweet and on the last day we went to check out, she said we could stay an extra night if we wanted too which of course we obliged as we didn't want to leave! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we will certainly be back again in the future to visit this beautiful part of Devon!

Fully equipped kitchen, perfect location for some beautiful walks, very close to woolacombe and Ilfracombe. Only downside was the kettle, couldn't have a cup of tea due to the coating of limescale in it. This is literally the only downside, lovely stay in coombe martin, very quiet area and even though the weather wasn't on our side we still had a great stay. The chalet itself wss equipped with what we needed for our stay, tidy, few cobwebs (cant be helped), little complimetary box of teas, coffees, and other useful bits on our arrival. A detailed information pack aswell which was great. Would definitely stay again

This was extremely important for me when booking as I have an electric car, and charge it with a slow charger while away. Arriving late at night to discover this wasn’t ideal at all. The reception team were rude when asking for an additional dog towel. It didn’t state on the booking dogs couldn’t be left, this could’ve been a huge inconvenience when I was down doing wedding stuff. On leaving at 9.55am I received a call telling us check out was strictly 10am when it was obvious we were loading our car to leave. And to top it off they make you discard your bin bag at the top of the hill on the way out, is this not a job the cleaners normally take care off?
