Estuary View is a well-regarded property with stunning views and a homely feel. It offers clean, well-equipped accommodation with thoughtful touches, though some guests suggest minor updates. The challenging access road and steep walks are noted, but the location's beauty compensates. The property's parking is a valued feature in Dartmouth.
The property is generally praised for its cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'very clean'. However, one review mentioned a need for cleaning products, which suggests room for improvement.
The location offers exceptional views and proximity to town, but the steep, narrow access road and challenging walks to town are repeatedly mentioned, which may deter some guests.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, comments about the annexe and a non-king size bed in the main bedroom suggest that comfort could be enhanced.
While the property is well-equipped with a stocked kitchen and parking, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as leaks and the need for updates. Without more specific information on the extent of these issues, it is not possible to provide a score.
The property has thoughtful touches and is well-equipped, but some guests were disappointed by the lack of a welcome pack and basic cleaning supplies. It should be noted that while gifts and welcome packs are appreciated, they are not guaranteed.

Real homely feel with good facilities and everything you need. My only criticism is the main bedroom is not a king size bed, it's 2 singles pushed together, where they don't really meet in the middle as mattress losing their shape. This really needs changing to king size mattress. Also disappointing no proper welcome pack not even fresh milk, little things like this make huge difference. Bonus of car park space is a huge luxury as mentioned before very narrow street up to property, if someone comes your opposite way, prepare for a Mexican standoff and having to reserve some tight spaces. However have a Audi A5 and got through no issues. Altogether lovely home and as we fell in love with Dartmouth we would have no hesitation in booking this property again.

What can I say, this was a perfect location for Regatta week, our 3rd visit to the Regatta. The house is extremely comfortable, very well equipped, has absolutely 5 star views over the river and the estuary. The annexe was perfect for my two older grandkids and made them feel independent and grown up. The rental cost is on the high side but you get what you pay for, we will certainly rebook! One point to mention is parking which is at a premium in Dartmouth. If there are 2 reasonably large vehicles in a party, you will not have room in the designated area, 2 small vehicles - yes! The roads are very tight and steep up to the house but I had no problem in a long wheel base 7 series BMW. So no drama there. The walk to town is a a doddle (all down hill). Be aware that coming back is a bit of a challenge! However, I am a reasonably fit 73 year old and I and my family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the work-out. Do not be put off, itâs all more than worthwhile! In conclusion, a lovely house, in an amazing location, with beautiful views, in a magical town. Sykes Cottages are excellent to deal with, Iâve used them several times and would recommend. Thanks for a great experience for my family!

The property is even nicer than the photos show, with the most wonderful views from every room, and is very comfortable for eight adults. We had an issue with the parking caused by neighbour's scaffolding and, whilst it was not the owner's fault, this was resolved promptly by the agent and the owner, thank you.
