Guests say

3 Rock Cottages in Kingston, Devon, is a well-received holiday rental with a beautiful garden that guests and their pets enjoy. The property is praised for its comfortable beds, superb shower, and well-equipped kitchen. Its location is ideal for peaceful countryside holidays, coastal walks, and visiting nearby beaches. The neighbours are described as lovely, adding to the charm of the stay.

Most guests found the cottage to be sparkling clean, with clean linen and towels. However, a few mentioned issues such as cobwebs, dead insects, and dog waste in the garden, which slightly affected the overall cleanliness perception.

The location is highly praised for its peaceful setting, proximity to beaches, and countryside walks. The local pub and the village of Kingston are also appreciated, contributing to the property's appeal.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, highlighting the beds and the living space. Some concerns were raised about the size of the master bed and the second bedroom being cosy, which suggests room for improvement in comfort for some guests.

The property is well-equipped with a range of amenities, but some guests reported issues with the dishwasher, washing machine, and hot water supply. The utility room's floor paint was also noted to be flaking. These maintenance issues have led to a slightly lower score.

While some guests appreciated the welcome bottle of wine and fresh flowers, there is insufficient information to determine if such gestures are consistent or to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the host. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should note that such gifts are not guaranteed.

Comfortable beds and fluffy towels. A tiled entrance useful for muddy boots and dogs. A large fenced garden making it completely safe for dogs. The garden has a lovely sitting area, perfect for sunny days. The cottage, although 15 minutes away from a beach is in a good location for Dartmouth, Salcombe etc Would happily recommend and hopefully return one day ourselves.

We all enjoyed your lovely garden and were lucky with the weather. Well placed for great walks and visiting nearby towns and villages.

The neighbours were also really nice (especially Bryn the dog...what a sweety). The garden was really nice and genuinely secure which was really important to us and our dog (she loved having the freedom to come and go at will). Several lovely beaches within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.
