Guests have enjoyed their stays at the Mayflower cottage, praising its clean condition, comfortable beds, and beautiful garden. The modern kitchen extension with bi-fold doors is a highlight, creating a bright and inviting space. The property's location is ideal for exploring Salcombe, and the enclosed garden is perfect for guests with dogs. Some guests mentioned minor issues with shower heights and natural light in bedrooms, but these did not detract from the overall positive experiences.

The property was consistently described as very clean upon arrival, indicating high standards of cleanliness. No negative comments about cleanliness were noted.

The location is frequently described as ideal and perfect for accessing the town and local walks, with only a mention of hilly terrain which might not suit everyone.

Comfortable beds and a cosy lounge are mentioned positively, though some guests noted issues with shower heights and light in the bedrooms. The garden and living spaces are well-received for relaxation.

The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, but some guests felt that additional TVs and better lighting in certain areas would enhance the experience. The mention of a tight parking space and the utility room add to the facilities' feedback.

While a welcome package is mentioned, the contents are described as odd and not all guests may have received the same items. As such, it's not possible to accurately assess the thoughtfulness based on the information provided.

The garden was perfect for the dogs. The only comment I would make would be to have an airer for clothes as not everyone likes to dry all clothes in a tumble drier. We will definitely stay there again
