Guests say

Woodwell in Salcombe is highly praised for its stunning views, comfortable and spacious accommodation, and thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper. Guests appreciate its proximity to local attractions and the quality of the facilities, despite a few minor maintenance issues and occasional cleaning lapses.

Most guests found Woodwell to be exceptionally clean, with high-quality bedding and towels. However, a few noted a decline in cleaning standards, including uncleaned windows and a smell from the washing machine, which slightly affected the overall impression.

The location is consistently lauded for its beautiful views and proximity to Salcombe and local beaches. It's considered ideal by guests, with easy access to the town and attractions, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Guests describe the property as comfortable and spacious, with an open-plan design and well-equipped kitchen. The quality of the bedding and the generous living space contribute to the overall comfort, although some minor issues with appliances were mentioned.

The facilities at Woodwell are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and a welcome pack. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as a loose tap, damaged outdoor table, and complicated TV system, which suggest room for improvement.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packs and local produce provided, which guests found delightful. It's important to note that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

House is really equipped with everything to make it a perfect stay. Great location to walk into Salcombe, the beaches and explore this beautiful part of Devon (off street parking also greatly appreciated). Lovely welcome hamper of goodies and note from the owners. We will be back!

Just one small point the outside table on the upper terrace could do with looking at both end leaves have some damage and the hinges are a bit loose. We have booked again and are looking to our stay next year. Stephen Burgess et al.
