Set in beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds of four acres, the privately owned cottages surround two attractive courtyards and the majority have superb, uninterrupted views down the valley to the sea at Thurlestone/South Milton Sands. The cottages enjoy the use of both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, games room with table tennis and pool, an all-weather tennis court, and the grounds include an orchard and croquet lawn. The sandy beach at South Milton, with the Beach House Caf?, is only a mile away

Indoor swimming pool. 5.5m x 11m heated and available all year. His and hers changing rooms. Shower room.

Croquet Lawn. Croquet set provided. Built-in barbecue alongside.

Reception. 9 am to 5 pm Monday, Thursday and Friday in high season (varies in low/mid season).

Accommodation: This light and bright cottage is all on one level. Ground floor open plan living room with two chair beds, Freeview TV/DVD and dining area. French doors to sun terrace. Kitchen, electric hob, eye level oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and washer dryer. Bedroom with single zip link twin beds (can form super king double). Bathroom with shower over bath.

Outside: Private terrace with garden furniture and views across orchard and countryside.

Communal area: Court Barton is approached along a private drive. Grouped around and accessed from two courtyards, with manicured lawns, each cottage has either its own private terrace or balcony provided with garden furniture. The extensive grounds are enclosed and bordered by fields with outstanding views down to the sea.

Included: Bed linen, towels, WiFi (generally good throughout the complex), all on site facilities, electricity and heating (night storage). Cot and high chairs by arrangement. Telephone (calls are logged and settled on departure).

Court Barton No.1 is a light and bright cottage all on one level which is both comfortable and spacious. The lounge has high ceilings with exposed beams and access through patio doors to a private patio which enjoys stunning countryside views.

Should you wish to leave the comfort of this delightful place, less than a mile away is the beach at Thurlestone Sands, wonderful for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, with the village of Thurlestone itself a little further on with its famous links golf course. The beautiful sailing mecca of the Salcombe estuary with its golden beaches is only 3 miles.
