Ayrmer Path is a roomy detached house at the end of a no-through road on the Ayrmer Cove side of Ringmore. With period features and a lovingly styled interior, it is charming accommodation for families to enjoy timeless relaxation on the coast. Steps lead down into the porch and from there you head into the big light kitchen which has a table to eat around in true country style. Alternatively, you can dine together around the table in the sitting room which provides lovely sea views and a cosy open fire to gather around. To sit quietly with a good book, you have a snug with a handy sofa bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. At the end of a busy day, head upstairs to bed in the four bedrooms. Outside, a sun terrace is a great space for cooking on the barbecue, eating alfresco and watching the sun set over the sea, and beyond that the children can play freely on the lawns and in the orchard. To get down to the little sandy cove, follow the pretty 600 yard footpath which passes the house and it will also take you to join the Coast Path for brilliant walking. Bigbury-on-Sea and Challaborough offer big sandy beaches with plenty of waves for bodyboarding and surfing. For eating out, the village inn is excellent or there is a delicious seafood restaurant within easy reach. Set in an idyllic spot, Ayrmer Path is a lovely place for walking, relaxing or seaside fun.

! The house, accommodation, the Garden and the views were stunning We enjoyed so many walks with our dogs and got in some fishing at Ayrmer Cove. There were even apples to make a lovely crumble. The facilities were everything we wanted The weather was perfect- sunshine and hot. We were sad to leave after our week but have already booked up for next year. Canât wait

This was our 10th visit to Ayrmer Path (no need to say more really) Waking up in the morning and being able to see the sea from your bed is unmissable. Great walking from the door along the coast path to Ayrmer Cove, Westcombe and the sandy beach at Bigbury on Sea (Burgh Island). We will be back soon

Ayrmer Path is a beautiful, comfortable house with amazing views. It also had everything we needed to conjure Christmas for six of us - including a Christmas tree and lots of vegetable peelers! There were several early morning swims in the cove at the bottom of the path, plus carols in the local church, a nativity service in Modbury, surfing at Bantham and an afternoon at Bigbury-on-Sea. The downstairs bathroom was a godsend for my 85 year-old mother-in-law. We all loved it and would definitely book again.
