The bed was superb with spotless linen and a choice of pillows. The kitchen was very well equipped with a range of cleaning products should they be needed. There were ample towels, oven gloves and a tea towel in case we had forgotten to pack ours. The hob and microwave were easy to use and the fridge was a good size. I liked the bench in the back garden and as long as I directed the dog to the right, once the gate was closed he was safe to roam around. The drinks and lovely packet of biscuits were very much appreciated on our arrival. We had a super stay, thank you.

However we felt the cottage required some attention to detail, the cutlery drawer was full of crumbs, fluff and hairs. The kitchen cupboard doors had marks on them. The bathroom and toilet floor was dirty which meant we spent some time cleaning. The shower screen/curtain was missing and there was no bath mat, however after contacting the cleaning supervisor, they were provided. Parking the car could be a challenge if you have a large car due to the turning angle, if other cars are parked in the road. Having said all this the beds were very comfortable, as were the sofas, there were plenty of mugs, plates, pots and pans to make meals. As the weather was very changeable we didn't get time to make use of the garden. Overall the cottage was reasonably comfortable but we felt that it should of been quality checked for cleanliness/ missing items before our holiday.

Glad the fridge problem had been solved with a fridge and freezer in the porch outside the kitchen. Parking is the big problem with cars parked both sides of the road and opposite the drive, it made it very difficult to get in and out. The kitchen floor was not very clean but everything else was a good standard. I didn't see the information folder tucked under the table in the lounge so didn't realise the washing machine was in the cellar. Would recommend it.
