It is perfectly kept and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The little shop and the "field kitchen" give great value when they are open. We left a day early though. Partly because of expected bad weather and partly because I couldn't do another night on the mattress/pillow/far too low sofa. I did tell the owner when we were checking out and bless her she said that if I had told her about the mattress she would have changed it for me!!!

I didnât need to use the EV charger but itâs great knowing thereâs one if we get stuck. We tried the new food station too on three occasions and was impressed by the quality of the food. Already booked to go back next year.

The location is excellent for getting around a vast area of Devon. The site is very well maintained and the staff are always helpful. We were grateful for the welcome pack.. a nice touch, the cakes were delicious. The lodge has plenty of storage and is in a nice position. We didnât use the swimming pool although plenty of others did.
