Awaken to a coffee whilst planning your itinerary, starting local by taking advantage of the shops and pubs of Teignmouth, before heading to the Grand Pier for an afternoon of amusements, and Teignmouth Beach, a short walk away from the home; you'll also find the Shaldon Wildlife Trust and the picturesque Ness Cove Beach within the vicinity. Dartmoor National Park and its abundance of nature-filled attractions can be reached by car or continue with the coastal landscape by visiting Torquay Beach and Babbacombe Beach, where you can also take a tour of the Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves. Round off your getaway in Exeter, for a day of sightseeing, shopping, and fine dining, with the Exeter Cathedral, Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, and River Exe to visit, whilst the East Devon AONB is brimming with beautiful coastal towns to explore. The historic, seaside town of Teignmouth is situated in South Devon on the mouth of the Teign estuary and boasts a working harbour, sandy beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre and sea activity centre. The seaward side of the town is known as ‘the Den’ and has elegant Georgian buildings, a large public area with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a miniature lighthouse. On the opposite side of Teignmouth are fishing boats and beach huts, plus views of the village of Shaldon and the hills of Dartmoor can be seen. Teignmouth also hosts folk and jazz festivals each year, whilst both the town and Shaldon hold annual carnivals and water regattas. If you decide to venture further afield, there is plenty to see and do close to Teignmouth including; the stunning Dartmoor National Park, the city of Exeter, plus the nearby harbour towns are well worth exploring.

otherwise it was just perfect. I hope you found the 2 glasses that were cracked/broken when we got there - unfortunately the first ones we picked up

Dog blankets were clean and parking was organised on request. Bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate and super comfortable beds. Busy little street up a hill from seafront but incredibly quiet in the evenings and friendly neighbours - we'd stay again.
