Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, ample dining and relaxation space, and the thoughtful touches from the owner, such as homemade scones. While some minor issues with maintenance and noise from the nearby train station are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found Sunny Mount clean and tidy upon arrival, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests encountered issues with cleanliness, including dog hairs and a slightly grubby fridge, which slightly impacts the overall high cleanliness rating.

The property accommodates large groups well, and the provision of towels and ample seating areas adds to the comfort. Some guests suggest the addition of fans and larger towels for further enhancement.
The property is well-equipped for large groups, with a variety of amenities such as a large cooker, washer, and dryer. Some guests noted a lack of kitchen utensils and minor maintenance issues, but these were generally seen as minor compared to the overall facilities provided.
The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests feeling welcomed by gestures such as homemade scones. While these personal touches are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such gestures, though delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

Near all facilities so don't need to use the car once parked up. Very helpful owners. Only problem is the very close proximity to the train station across the road which was really very noisy at night and through the night for anyone sleeping at the front of the house (you don't hear it the same at the back). The Car parking permit is very useful in the car park at the end of the street, literally 2 mins walk. Also useful for parking free in places like Dawlish too. A couple of tips for the owners that would have helped us are:- A washing line to dry beach towels etc The deck chairs in back area were broken so no extra seating outside the back. Other than that the house is well equipped for a big family holiday.

Itâs near the railway station which was a benefit for us as we only use public transport. All the rooms are large and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The views from the front of the house out to sea are wonderful and there is easy access to coastal and countryside walks.

The property is in a great location, near to the sea, park, shops and station. Lots of room and well equipped. The owner was fantastic, on hand when we needed her, and delivered a cream tea with warm scones straight out of the oven to welcome us. We loved it and would highly recommend and hope to return again next year.
