Follow the stairs up to the first floor where you'll spend long relaxing evenings with your loved one, with a homely woodburning stove perched in front of the feature wall, and a Smart TV great for watching the latest Netflix release while snuggled up on the large sofa. Enjoy a day exploring the nearby town of Launceston, once the capital of Cornwall, it is home to the imposing remains of a Norman castle dominating the skyline, with two town trails to help you discover the heritage of this market town. Hop onto the wonderful Launceston Steam Railway for a journey back in time in a restored Victorian carriage, taking you through the unspoilt countryside of Cornwall, with Newmills Farm Park being a stop on the way so you can enjoy a fun day out before catching the train home. Wildlife enthusiasts won't want to miss a chance to see the cute creatures at the Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre where British and Asian Short Clawed Otters live along with fallow deer, wallabies, meerkats and several birds of prey, an exciting day out for all!
