This property is located on the outskirts of Swanage near the fashionable Studland Village and Bay. Swanage is a traditional coastal town with a popular sandy beach and a great selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Rolling hills surround the town, ensuring you’ll have the best of both worlds when it comes to walking routes, with the South West Coast Path, Ballard Down and Durlston Country Park all within 2 miles. From here, you can take the steam train to Corfe Castle, which is home to castle ruins cared for by the National Trust, as well as pretty streets to explore. Within 14 miles are many attractions including Monkey World, The Tank Museum, rspb Arne, the walled town of Wareham, and abandoned Tyneham village. Old Harry Rocks and Studland village are walkable from the cottage, which offers direct access onto the South West Coast Path.

Located behind double gates, enter the driveway from the road. At the private entrance, kick off your muddy boots in the hallway and walk directly into a spacious living room that offers ample space for the you to relax. The living room features comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a wood burner-effect electric fire, creating a cosy atmosphere. The bright and spacious, well-equipped kitchen, with French doors leading to the rear garden, provides everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast or a delicious evening meal after a day of exploring the local area. Take the stairs to the first floor, where you will find the master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. Bedroom two also offers a king-size bed. A spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC complete the first floor.

Outside, you'll discover a perfect place to relax, cook up a treat on the BBQ, or enjoy your favourite drink under the stars.

    First class accommodation both inside and out. The cottage delivered on everything promised and having such a lovely outside/garden area we could eat outside or simply sit in the sun and relax. Close to Swanage we did not need the car and car parking was very secure at all times. We have found somewhere close to Swanage which offers everything for a relaxing break, peace and quiet in a location that is lovely and we are so glad we had chance to stay there when we booked on the last minute. The owner lived next door and did everything to ensure we had a lovely holiday and nothing was too much trouble. It was perfect for us and we will not hesitate in booking again. Holiday accommodation can be somewhat of a great unknown these days but the entire booking was easy, efficient and reliable which followed through to a superb stay that could not have been better.

    We had a lovely week at Ortega. It is a fairly spacious and well equipped house with plenty of parking and a lovely garden to enjoy. It also has the benefit of having the owner living next door and Sandra was very helpful and friendly. We would certainly recommend Ortega.

    Clean comfortable property in a good location for local buses, restaurants and pubs. Two bathrooms are a bonus especially if two couples use the accommodation.
