Located in Bothenhampton in Bridport, in a peaceful setting with countryside views all around, Africa & India are two unique timber cabins situated just yards apart from each other. The cabins comfortably accommodate one or two guests, offering ample space for up to four guests to gather together to relax and dine, inside or out.

The first cabin, Africa, is a unique and charming air-conditioned retreat, sitting in a peaceful rural setting with views of the pretty countryside. With the air-conditioning/heating operated via a remote control/fully automatic, you can create the ideal ambience. The cabin offers well-appointed accommodation for a comfortable break, and although small in size, it offers all that one could wish for, with a fully fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, a comfortable sitting area with sofa, additional chaise and television, and a dining area. There is a cloakroom with attractive fixtures, and when you walk through to the bedroom you will find a wonderful space that incorporates a 5' king-size bed, a roll-top bath and separate walk-in shower enclosure. The air conditioning ensures you are always comfortable, be it a warm sunny day, or perhaps a chilly afternoon, and double doors allow you to enjoy the fresh air, connecting you to the private outside terrace.

Neighbouring cabin, India, is a second wonderful timber cabin, sitting close to her sister property Africa, and also offering well-appointed accommodation for a special break. The cabin offers all that one could wish for, electric heating throughout, a fully fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The sitting area includes a comfortable sofa and sofa bed, a feature electric fire, a television, and a dining table with chairs.

Walk through to the bedroom and you will find a wonderful bright space that incorporates a 5' king-size bed, and an en-suite shower room. Double doors allow you to enjoy the fresh air, connecting you to the private outside terrace and garden, where you can listen to the birdsong, or gaze at the stars at night.

When relaxing outside, there is a choice of garden furniture at both cabins, where you can relax together and enjoy the views out over the surrounding hills, and look out for a passing rabbit or pheasant, or even the local deer. The location of these special retreats is ideal, being on the edge of the attractive village of Bothenhampton, and just a 15 minute walk away from the harbour and beach at West Bay with its iconic Jurassic cliffs. Take a 15 minute stroll in to the vibrant centre of Bridport, where you will find a great selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs, and perhaps take a seat on one of the wooden benches in Bucky Doo square where you can listen to the many and varied musicians that regularly perform, or soak up the atmosphere of the Bridport hustle and bustle, and its regular street markets.

Whether you are looking to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting, or head out and about to walk, cycle, swim and explore, a break at Africa & India will ensure that special memories are created.
